Dear Friends,
So many trips to report on!
Rodrigo literally played and shared the gospel with thousands and thousands of people in these 5 countries. It was through both TV and Radio interviews, concert venues, churches both small and large, Music Conservatories, an orphanage and a Cancer ward.
Dominican Republic September
He played 6 concerts: City Hall, a Music Conservatory, an orphanage and at a hospital Cancer ward.
Spain October
In the beautiful Palma de Mallorca we were at the only English speaking church and also the largest Pentecostal church on the Island. There are only 1% Christians of the 1.5 million people who live there, with huge amounts of tourist each year. Many visiting Germans, English and South Africans came to the services.
I was able to share at a Ladies gathering and also with Rodrigo in the main service. We heard from a Lady who said that she wasn’t going to come but was so glad she did because she heard the Lord speak to her through the words that day.
Costa Rica October
Five concerts in total – the most excited story is that when Rodrigo was interviewed on TV an owner of a radio station heard it and wanted to personally meet and talk with Rodrigo. They met and then Rodrigo invited him to a concert where this man gave his life to the Lord!
Ecuador November
The National Christian radio station HCJB invited Rodrigo for three Christmas Concert Events.
He also played at the Quito Music Conservatory.
Romania December
The most wonderful inside look at a special part of this trip is when we traveled on a 7 hour road trip close to the border of Bulgaria. There is a ministry there working with the unchurched youth in an area where witchcraft and the occult is prevalent and evangelism is not welcome.
In 2 different concerts we saw these young people have faces full of hope and joy to meet with the ministry leaders and hear Rodrigo.
One Pastor said told us that this is the first time the youth had heard a concert with a professional musician and he knew they would never forget it. (And I’m sure the words of hope given to them) All in all Rodrigo had 6 concerts and one radio interview there.
What's Next?
We will be praying and discussing where the Lord might be opening the door for 2025 with our board members this coming January!
