Sharing the love of God around the world

“If anyone ministers, let him do it as with the ability which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified” 1 Peter 4:11

God equipped us with the ministry of music to share the love of God around the world. We meet many people from all walks of life in our travels. It is not what we do. It is what God does through us.

On a recent visit to England, we met Ed, a young man who was blessed by the worship and testimony we shared that night. He told us that he had a friend who was severely depressed, on drugs and suicidal. Ed’s friend’s sister had recently committed suicide and was now in a deep hole of hopelessness and despair.

Ed shared my video biography with his friend. The Holy Spirit spoke to him in a powerful and direct way as he watched. We asked if I could go and visit with him, to share the power of the Gospel with him.

We sat and shared with Ed’s friend for a while, playing the guitar and talking about God’s love for us. I shared how he could become a Christian and surrender his life to Jesus and become a new man.
We share the Gospel with audiences all over the world, large and small. There is no greater calling in our lives that to share the power of Jesus with this one man.

Both Ed and his friend held hands crying together at the final prayer that was said.

As we traveled to the next town, we received a text from Ed telling us that after 8 years away from church this young man returned. He looked so different Ed could hardly recognize him. The end of this story is not yet written. It is our hope that we will meet Ed and his friend one day in heaven where we can all glorify God together.
