England - July 2019
Arriving in London, we felt the busyness of a city that has no time for the things of the Lord.
Rodrigo played an evangelical concert at Calvary Chapel London. It is in the heart of London. This fellowship is a warm haven of hope in the midst of a dark city.
The very interesting thing we saw in this church is that 90% of the people attending are foreigners. Many were from the Philippines. They were so encouraged to know that Rodrigo was going to their home country to share the gospel soon.
Scotland - July 2019
Going to Motherwell Scotland was an amazing time. Rodrigo played at a church where the Pastor thanked us and said “Not many Evangelicals comes here to the UK anymore”
The concert was recored and sent out by the Christian radio station there.
Asia - September 2019
Rodrigo was invited by the Philippine Classical Guitar Society to be a part of their International Guitar Festival.
In this 100% secular event Rodrigo included as part of his program Amazing Grace and Via Dolorosa. This gave him the opportunity to share what these titles meant to him and what inspired the arrangements.
He was well received especially by the young guitar students who then choose to attend his Guitar Masterclass, where they heard the gospel.
Next concert was at the Conservatory of music for the Catholic Saint Thomas University, then on to the Philippine Bible Society.
What's Next?
February 2020
We have been invited to a church in Ecuador to be part of a marriage conferences. We will be sharing our testimony of how God has brought us through the deep waters in our marriage.
July 2020
Rodrigo will be playing at a Pastor’s conference in York England. We will be preparing with the attending Pastors from all over the United Kingdom an Evangelistic Christmas Tour for December. This is the only time of the year that non-believers could be more open to hear the gospel through a Christmas Concert Music program.
