"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future hope. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you."

Rodrigo Rodriguez, classical guitarist - promotional poster

Guatemala October 2017

The Calvary Chapel Pastor Conference brought over 200 pastors from all over Mexico and Central America. Rodrigo had the honor of leading worship in the sessions and encouraged these brothers to remember God’s promises even as they work in very hostel conditions and areas.

Cuba November 2017

Mary was one of the speakers for the National Baptist Womens Conference. She got to hear first hand the difficulty of women trying to break free of the false religion of Santeria that has been a dark spot for many family members.

Mary was amazed at the how these ladies would worship with all there hearts and loved to hear the Word.

Ecuador February 2018

Rodrigo played at the National Auditorium of Quito, the country’s capital. He was accompanied by a 12 piece band, three of them came from his home church, Fellowship Greenville. The out reach almost didn’t happen because of a complication regarding licenses and permission. Much prayer went out and 5 hours before the event, which was also scheduled to be broadcast live by a Christian TV station, we had the “go ahead”! At the end of the concert a local Pastor did an altar call. The new believers were invited to Pastor Dios Fiel’s church for growth and fellowship.

Because of Rodrigo’s past musical connections, he was ask to be a part of a concert where many Ambassadors and Officials throughout South America attended. He was able to share his faith interwoven with his music.

The last event was playing three services for the church Dios Fiel (God is Faithful). Mary gave her testimony at a women’s event, where many ladies came up afterward for prayer.

The 3 highlights that stand out:

  • In the church concert a 12 member family all gave their life to the Lord.
  • When Rodrigo & Mary caught a taxi and were speaking with the driver, they found out that he was a new christian. The cab driver almost stopped the taxi when he heard Rodrigo’s name because a week before as he was driving listening to Christian radio he had heard an interview with Rodrigo. He could not get over the fact that the Lord sent Rodrigo to speak with him because of the dark times he was going through. Rodrigo prayed with him before we left the cab.
  • With all the events combined around 5,000 people got to hear the gospel on this trip.

What's Next?

September 2018

Rodrigo and Mary will be going again back to the Czech-Rebublic invited by the Czech Baptist Union. There will be 6 outreaches concerts attended mostly by non-believers who will come to a Christmas Concert to hear the music.

The Czech people teach their children instead of Santa Clause bringing them gifts, it’s baby Jesus. They will hear how that baby Jesus grew up and died on a cross for them!

Rodrigo has also been invited by the Prague Music Festival to be a part of the Event with his own concert.

Would you please help us with your prayers and financial support to fulfill what God has put on our hearts to do?
